Vietnamese coffee -- Dunkin Donuts edition

I was in a Dunkin Donuts this morning.  Two observations:

1.  Even in a country known for their coffee, they are not used to serving traditional American drip coffee.  When I ordered my Dunkin Donuts coffee this morning, they asked if I wanted Vietnamese coffee.  When I said no, I'd like traditional Dunkin Donuts coffee, they said I'd have to wait 5 minutes...and it turned out to be 10.  Thye have to make a new pot of coffee every time.  I've seen this same delay at Starbucks -- the specialty drinks will come out well before the regular drip coffee.  The Dunkin Donuts coffee was pretty good, though.

2.  The donuts, on the other hand, just miss.  They taste fine, don't get me wrong.  The one I had was jelly-filled, which tasted good.  But the frosting wasn't sweet.  It is a little weird eating a donut where the texture is right but the taste is slightly off.

No major complaints, though.  Good effort.
