Day 5 -- The Bazaar and the Night Market

The Sweeneys last full day in Vietnam started with the Hanoi International Women's Club Holiday Bazaar at St. Paul.  It was an event for charity that brought thousands of people to campus and had many countries represented and selling food. Crafts and vendors were also there, including Vietnamese pottery from Bat Trang:

Part of the reason we went to the bazaar was to listen to the St. Paul Band, featuring Ellie on baritone:





After returning from the bazaar, we made one more trip to the Old Quarter of Hanoi, this time for some water puppet theater and the night market:
