Star Tower

After months of looking around online at many different houses and apartments and contacting about twenty real estate agents all over the city, we finally have a place to call home for four months in Hanoi. Given the circumstances -- trying to find a place halfway around the world, not knowing anyone in Hanoi, having to find a place for six people in a crowded city -- it worked out amazingly well.

Here's the floor plan for the four-bedroom apartment in our building (Star Tower): 



We asked Libby's adviser at her university to check out our potential apartment and take some pictures.  He very graciously obliged and gave it a thumbs up.  Here's the amazing view from one of the bedrooms, overlooking the park that is near our building:
